Drinking alcohol is not good in real life., or if your skin care routine includes it, your skin is majorly susceptible to dryness. It’s no secret that alcohol is used in many skin care products but isn’t necessarily the best if your skin starts getting dry and flakes around. In that case you can try going for a Vitamin C serum for face and skin. A vitamin c serum will help shield your skin from any sort of dryness and in general also helps add a glow to your skin. Or you can try going for face wash for dry skin specifically targeted towards this combined with a face moisturizer! Some of the best moisturizers for dry skin are as we mention a vitamin c serum for face, Vaseline petroleum jelly etc.

2. Your skin appears extremely oily

Oily skin is a problem many teenagers face. Many boys try to go for a simple face wash or a generic men face wash but it is to no avail. And if you are using the wrong product, you can have extremely oily skin! Well, in this scenario maybe try going for a face wash for oily skin, that is known and renowned for its results. Pair it up with a face moisturizer and a good exfoliator as well.

You decide to let it be… day after day the pimples start to expand their little kingdom and before y’know it… Acne breakout! What you may not know is that if you use skin products that have oil in them their chances of occurring also increases. Though people looovee to just pop these little pimples… please refrain from doing so as there are chances that scars will be left on your skin. To take care of this go for products specifically curated for acne prone skin but please never pop them. What is the difference between an acne and a rash? You can distinguish between them by seeing that acne usually contains blackheads, pimples etc. but a rash is just general swelling and inflammation of the skin causing itching etc. If you haven’t really been scrubbing your skin care products the right way… you can get a rash. To fight a rash, avoid rubbing your skin, use gentle cleansers… a simple face wash will suffice.

5. No improvement in general

How to adopt a good skincare routine?

Good skincare routine

Normally people would advise you to get a rigid skincare schedule and stick to it till the end of time. We, at Anveya would like to say “Boring!”. Make it fun. Skincare shouldn’t be boring, it should be something you do with a smile on your face!

A good skincare routine includes basic 3 steps : Cleanse, moisturize & sun protect.

1. Cleanse : Cleanse your face twice a day ; once in the morning and once at night before you head to sleep. You can try ThriveCo's Exfoliating Foaming Facial Cleanser. It gently cleanses skin and is suitable for all skin types.

2. Moisturize : Go for a thoroughly hydrating, non-comedogenic moisturizer after washing your face.

3. Sunscreen : This is the final and most important step of your skincare routine. Sun protect your skin with a Sunscreen Gel that contains SPF 50 and provides broad spectrum coverage. ThriveCo's Ultra Light Sunscreen Gel does an incredible job at calming sun-stressed skin.

In order to develop a decent skincare routine, you gotta believe in the mantra - less is more. We know it must be tempting to see all these amazingly packed and gorgeous looking skincare products doing rounds in the market. But keep your routine simple, yet effective. Be consistent with the routine and have a lot of patience. Skincare takes time. Give your skin time to reflect the results.
